In business for 12 years, FirstLine Gloves was started in 1997 by Colette Perches, President and CEO and now supports over 600 cities nationwide. Our customer service philosophy is derived from our company slogan “Technology from the Future, Customer Service from the Past.”
Dedicated to providing superior gloves and comprehensive education through full quality disclosure, FirstLine Gloves is committed to the uniqueness of 1st responder applications. Benchmarking technology in the EMS industry, FirstLine Gloves introduced the Double Polymer Coating Non Chlorination Process, eliminating glove degradation upon exposure to heat and sun during use and storage. In addition, FirstLine Gloves introduced RezTak™, a non stick glove formulation allowing for use of all adhesives, including duct tape, without compromising dexterity or glove performance in the field.
Today, the GloveGirls are well known throughout the industry for providing ongoing education, detailed insider industry information on a vast array of glove topics, including glove specifications and tolerances, latex and nitrile allergies, hand regime requirements, quality standards, manufacturing processes and importation loopholes. Our sales approach whereby “we love to glove” and “how may I glove you” combined with “one contact answers and solutions to PPE questions” has contributed to FirstLine supporting 16 of the top 25 Fire/ EMS Departments nationwide.
